UCDS (Unified Chassis Diagnostic System) is a professional-grade software and hardware suite designed for advanced diagnostics, configuration, and reprogramming of Ford Motor Company vehicles. Unlike standard OBD-II scanners, UCDS provides low-level access to vehicle modules (ECUs), allowing for functions typically reserved for dealership-level tools (Ford IDS) or engineering interfaces (FoCCCus, FORScan). Overview | Type | Diagnostic & Configuration Tool | |------|--------------------------------| | Developer | UCDS Team (Russia/Europe) | | Initial Release | ~2012 | | Operating System | Windows 7, 8, 10, 11 | | Hardware Interface | UCDS USB Adapter (various versions) | | Vehicle Compatibility | Ford, Lincoln, Mercury (2004–present) | | License Model | Paid hardware + free software (with token system) | History UCDS was developed as a response to limitations in Ford's official IDS (Integrated Diagnostic Software) and the growing demand for "as-built" module configuration. Early versions focused on the Ford Focus (second and third generations) but quickly expanded to cover the entire Ford global C/D platform (Focus, Kuga, Mondeo, Transit, etc.).
