A major complaint from 0.6.0 was that the water shader looked more like Jell-O than H₂O. The new shader (labeled “AquaReal 0.3”) is significantly better. Splash effects no longer clip through character models, and there’s a subtle refraction effect on submerged limbs. It’s a small technical win, but it sells the summer illusion.
