If you own a Fujitsu (now Ricoh) ScanSnap iX500, you own one of the most popular desktop document scanners ever made. However, as of 2022, this model has entered End of Life (EOL) status. This means Fujitsu no longer produces new units, and more critically, official technical support and direct driver updates for newer operating systems have ceased.
