"We're not gay, but we're not NOT gay." – Kyle (DJ Qualls)
When clean-cut Josh Parker (Breckin Meyer) cheats on his girlfriend Tiffany (Rachel Blanchard) during a moment of video-chat weakness, his friends convince him that taping an apology is a bad idea. Instead, he records a heartfelt confession… which gets swapped with a raunchy tape of his friend Rubin (Paulo Costanzo) having a bizarre encounter. When the wrong tape is mailed to Tiffany, Josh, Rubin, the weirdly wise Kyle (DJ Qualls), and the perpetually stoned E.L. (Seann William Scott) pile into a beat-up college car. What follows is a chaotic cross-country race against time involving a stolen car, a venomous snake, a lactose-intolerant bus passenger, a naked dorm sprint, and a memorable cameo by Tom Green as the ultimate hitchhiking weirdo. road trip 2000 movie

Road Trip captures the turn-of-the-millennium comedy spirit – equal parts raunchy, sweet, and absurd. Directed by Todd Phillips ( Old School , The Hangover ) and co-written by Scot Armstrong, the film launched the careers of several comedic actors and remains a defining "college road movie" of the early 2000s. It’s a celebration of friendship, terrible decisions, and the desperate hope that you can fix everything before your girlfriend watches you on VHS.
