Openh264 - Power Book Ii: Ghost S02e04

– Essential viewing for the season arc.

The title “The Get Back” operates on two levels: the literal pursuit of revenge (getting back at someone) and the defensive act of reclaiming lost ground. By the end of this episode, every major character has either suffered a loss they cannot afford or has drawn a line in the sand that will force a violent response. The episode begins not with Tariq, but with Monet Tejada (Mary J. Blige) in a silent, rage-filled montage. After the previous episode’s cliffhanger—where her son Cane shot at Zeke (mistaking him for a threat)—Monet is in damage control. She forces a doctor to lie on official records, paying him off to say Zeke’s gunshot wound was an accident. This cold open establishes the central theme of the episode: parents cleaning up their children’s messes at any moral cost. Tariq St. Patrick: The Barcode to the Consortium Tariq’s storyline in “The Get Back” pivots on his initiation into Monet’s drug consortium . Mecca (Daniel Sunjata), the mysterious “boss of all bosses,” demands that Tariq prove his value beyond being a college kid with a connection to Dante Spears (Mecca’s undercover identity). power book ii: ghost s02e04 openh264
