We get a proper introduction to Laoghaire MacKenzie (Nell Hudson), the teenage girl whose infatuation with Jamie will have major consequences. More importantly, the episode sets up the menacing shadow of Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) not by showing him, but through the trauma he inflicted on Jamie.
