This is a modified version of Windows 8.1 Embedded Industry Pro. I call it "Windows 9"
It was designed to bring back the UI from Windows 7, while keeping the kernel improvements from 8.1
You need a license key to activate this operating system.
If you are in college, check if you have a Microsoft Imagine subscription. You can usually get an 8.1 Embedded Industry Pro license key from Microsoft Imagine for free.
Windows 9 is x64 only - this will not work on 32 bit systems.
If affected by a black screen issue after windows update, please visit this page for instructions on how to repair.

Using multiple monitors can boost productivity by up to 42%, but constantly reaching for your mouse to move windows or adjust displays kills that efficiency. The solution? Keyboard shortcuts. Whether you're on Windows , macOS , or Linux , these hotkeys will transform how you manage your multi-monitor setup. Windows 10 & 11 (Most Common) Microsoft has built robust multi-monitor shortcuts directly into Windows.

Native: Drag with mouse while holding Cmd . | | Move window left/right between monitors (native but limited) | System Settings → Keyboard → Mission Control → Assign shortcuts for "Move left/right a space" | | Open Mission Control (see all monitors) | F3 or Ctrl + Up Arrow | | Switch between desktops on the active monitor | Ctrl + Left Arrow / Right Arrow | | Move focus to next display (accessibility) | Ctrl + Cmd + F3 (then navigate) | | App Exposé (windows on current monitor only) | Ctrl + F3 (then arrow keys) | | Toggle display mirroring | Cmd + F1 (older macOS) / No default on newer – use Display preferences or Raycast/Alfred | ⚠️ Note: macOS is less shortcut-friendly for multi-monitor out of the box. Apps like Rectangle , Magnet , or BetterSnapTool add Win + Shift + Arrow -style behavior. Linux (GNOME, KDE, or with extensions) Linux varies by desktop environment. Here are the most common (GNOME + extensions). Using multiple monitors can boost productivity by up

Note that many shortcuts depend on Mission Control settings. Whether you're on Windows , macOS , or
