He realized, with a sharp, clear pang, that he was one of the last pilots. The world was moving to autopilot, to self-driving cars and algorithm-curated lives. No one wanted to learn about renderers or audio filters. They wanted convenience. And convenience, Arjun knew, was a velvet coffin.
