Abstract Logistics serves as the backbone of supply chain management, encompassing a range of functions that ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods, information, and resources from point of origin to point of consumption. This paper identifies and analyzes the seven primary logistics functions: transportation, warehousing, inventory management, order processing, material handling, packaging, and information management. It further discusses how these functions integrate to achieve logistical objectives such as customer satisfaction, cost minimization, and time utility. The paper concludes that strategic coordination of logistics functions is essential for competitive advantage in modern globalized markets.
