Laptop Driver Check -

Now, desperate, Arjun opened the Device Manager. His eyes scanned the list: Processors, Disk Drives, Display Adapters. Everything looked… normal. No yellow exclamation marks. No red Xs. The machine said it was fine, but his hands felt the heat radiating from the keyboard. His ears heard the frantic, high-pitched spin of a fan giving up its ghost.

He frowned. He didn't have a fingerprint reader. He clicked on it. The properties window opened. Driver status: laptop driver check

Arjun looked at his hands. They looked real, but the edges of his fingers were slightly blurry, like a photo taken in bad light. He looked at his window. Outside, the streetlight was still on, but the light it cast didn't reach the ground. It stopped in mid-air, a perfect column of yellow hanging over nothing. Now, desperate, Arjun opened the Device Manager

And his laptop was running like a dying animal. No yellow exclamation marks

Just a clean, driver-checked machine, ready for its next, real user.

The cursor blinked on an empty desktop. No project. No Priya. No Arjun.
