Panos declares himself “Camp Leader” by virtue of being an MP. Dr. Elias challenges him: “You lost a vote to a potted plant in the last election.” Achi flexes. Vicky laughs so hard she snorts.

The fortress is dusty, filled with broken amphorae and goat skeletons. Their “camp” is an open courtyard with one tattered tarp and a single bucket of brackish water.

The “Ladder” is a series of rope-and-wood steps dangling up the sheer cliff face, with waves crashing below. But the twist: every third rung is smeared with anchovy paste to attract wasps.
