Nuada captures Nuala to force her to give up the piece, but she hides it. He then releases a (a giant, plant-like elemental) on the BPRD’s headquarters. Hellboy kills the god in a brutal fight, but this act deeply troubles him—he realizes he may be the monster humans fear. The Golden Army Awakens Nuada eventually recovers all three pieces (by threatening to kill Nuala unless Abe gives his piece to him).
