Hatsune Miku is not a traditional text-to-speech (TTS) engine like Amazon Polly or Google TTS. Instead, she is a Vocaloid singing voice synthesizer developed by Crypton Future Media, based on Yamaha’s Vocaloid engine. Her voice is sampled from voice actress Saki Fujita and designed for singing, not natural speech.
