The good news? Netflix lets you download thousands of movies and episodes directly to your iPad. The bad news? You have to do it before you lose signal.
We’ve all been there. You’re about to board a long-haul flight, settle into a commuter train, or head to a cabin with no Wi-Fi—and you realize you forgot to save your Netflix shows.
Browse the app. The easiest shortcut is to look for the “Available for Download” row on the home screen. You can also search for a specific movie and check if the download arrow is visible.
Open the “My Netflix” tab at the bottom right of your screen. Tap “Downloads” at the top. That’s your offline library. Pro Tips for Power Users 1. Smart Downloads (The Auto-Pilot Feature) Go to App Settings > Downloads > Smart Downloads . Turn this on.
