Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 was the "Quality of Life" update. It didn't invent new file formats or AI (that came later), but it made the act of drawing and designing feel human again. For digital painters, it is arguably the most important update of the last decade.

In 2018, the context-aware Properties panel consolidated everything. Click a text layer? Adjust leading and tracking. Click a rounded rectangle? Change the corner radius live.
